We enjoy lots of free play with good quality toys which are either my own or from the toy library. I buy many of my toys from the Early learning Centre. My children are bookworms and we have a vast collection of books.

Planned activities include painting, sticking, play dough, drawing, singing, cooking, musical instruments, TV time, story time and much more. Each month has a theme and we work around this.

We visit toddler groups, soft play areas, library, music/song time groups.  When time permits (such as holiday times) we visit farms, theme parks, national trust places of interest, go on picnics to parks etc.

I have a daily routine which I try to stick to as I feel routine is very important for young children. However many activities are more rewarding when they are spontaneous so the routine may be subject to change.
